CASE NO. 11-11 Appeal by Teed Wafle the Notice of violation-Use Not Permitted, dated September 14, 2011 Article IV, Section 2 of the City of Youngstown Zoning Ordinance. The property in question is located at 311 Gypsy Lane, being used as a rooming and boarding house but is zoned R-20, Single-Family Residential. Denied

Case No. DRC 11-24: Proposal by Anita Lin, Paramount Project for a 4’ X 38’ banner with grommets to be secured to the façade of the Paramount Theater. The property in question is located at the corner of W. Federal and Hazel Street.

Redevelopment Code Meeting Update!

The City of Youngstown hosted a review meeting at the Stambaugh Auditorium Ballroom October 4^th. The meeting, with nearly 200 people in attendance, was set up to discuss the draft of the much needed redevelopment code. The module 1 draft has taken in considerations of public input.

The meeting was held to discuss the possible outcomes of the draft and for concerned citizens to voice their opinions and concerns.
